Quality Commitment - Credentialing

Credentialing Plan
AultCare ensures our members that we have high-quality network practitioners that provide quality care and service by assessing and validating their qualifications. AultCare has a credentialing process based on accreditation credentialing standards developed by both URAC and NCQA. This process requires prospective practitioners to complete applications that ask for detailed information such as education, training, work history, malpractice history and disciplinary actions. Our Credentialing staff verifies this information. When all the required information is obtained and verified, our Peer Committee, which is a multidisciplinary committee with representatives from various specialties, reviews each practitioner application.

Each practitioner is credentialed prior to performing patient care and every three years thereafter. AultCare performs credentialing on all Medical Doctors, Osteopaths, Oral Surgeons, Podiatrists, Chiropractors, Optometrists, and Behavioral Health Practitioners.
